Fundraising Chair Position Description:
The Fundraising Chair will oversee and organize fundraising events to fulfill the funding requirements for the Engineers in Action Bridge Program UIUC Chapter. The Fundraising Chair is to develop a consistent and unique fundraising plan/schedule that creates multiple streams of funding access alongside promoting the growth of the organization simultaneously. Additionally, they will be required to communicate their ideas with the rest of the internal team to prevent the overlapping of other scheduled events.
Required Skills:
Ability to effectively plan events at a larger scale for our organization
Experience in managing and tracking our funding abilities throughout the year
Effective communication abilities along with presentation knowledge
Experience in creating proposals for various fundraising activities
Marketing Chair Position Description:
The marketing chair is responsible for overseeing the marketing and promotional strategy of our organization. They play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth by developing and executing effective marketing initiatives. The specifics of the role will vary based on the intended purpose of the event or schedule they are marketing, but will always be expected to maintain active communication with other members of the internal team.
Required Skills:
Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy in alignment with our goals and objectives.
Define and maintain the brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging, visuals, and values across all marketing materials and channels
Effective communication abilities along with presentation knowledge
Manage public relations efforts to maintain a positive brand image and handle troubleshooting communications when necessary
Media Chair Position Description:
The Media Chair oversees the strategic direction and management of all media-related activities, ensuring seamless integration of brand messaging across diverse channels. Responsible for optimizing media campaigns, making sure our organization has an active social media presence, and leveraging internal insights to amplify brand reach and engagement.
Required Skills:
Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies aligned with organizational goals
Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including social media, display advertising, email marketing, and content marketing
Effective communication abilities along with presentation knowledge
Ability to work closely with creative teams to align messaging and visuals with media campaigns
Outreach Chair Position Description:
The Outreach Chair will coordinate events with the Urbana-Champaign community; this will include planning and scheduling events with local schools and other non-profit organizations outside the University of Illinois campus. Additionally, the Outreach Chair will assist the Social Chair in sorting out the logistics of any internal and external event(s) that our organization decides to host. The Outreach Chair will also co-lead this year’s Engineering Open House in March/April.

Social Chair Position Description:
The Social Chair will organize unique and interactive social events for the members of the Engineers in Action Bridge Program UIUC Chapter. Social events may range from activities that highlight the organization and its values to fun-entertaining activities that promote the fun side of our society. The Social Chair will not just coordinate solo events within the organization but also find ways to plan and schedule joint activities with other clubs across campus.
